Take the
Moraler's Challenge
To help keep the dancers on their feet by unleashing extreme enthusiasm and excitement upon them! Moralers help to support dancers throughout their 12-hour quest by committing to one three-hour shift (with the option of staying longer!) during the 12 hours where he/she will encourage, support, and energize Dance Marathon participants! Moralers will commit their time and energy in providing esprit de corps for all those involved.

Moralers F.A.Q.
Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about being a moraler. If you have a question that isn't listed on here, please call the CMN Office at 785-4053!
What will I do when I'm there?
You, the moraler, will be the dancer's best friend. You'll be the energetic and friendly face that every dancer needs to get through his or her 12 hours of dancing! You'll keep the dancers' spirits up and dance the day and night away with them!
What should I bring? Can I bring stuff for my dancer friends?
First, be sure to bring $15 to sign up to morale if you haven't signed up early online. Also, make sure to bring treats, notes of encouragement... anything you think will keep your dancer friends happy and energized on the dance floor! You may want to bring a camera to capture all the memories you'll be making! Most importantly, bring plenty of ENERGY and get ready to dance the night away!!
Should I bring food?
You can bring food to the event. It''s probably a good idea to bring food if you''re planning on staying a while (we hope you do!). Meals will be provided for the dancers, but unfortunately, we can't provide food for moralers who do not pre-register by February 12th.
Should I bring water?
You don't need to bring water - there will be plenty of huge coolers filled with water to keep everyone hydrated.
Can I bring alcohol?
No. Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited at Dance Marathon.
How long can I stay?
Once you enter Dance Marathon, you can stay as long as you'd like. We encourage moralers to stay longer than their 3-hour shifts to support the dancers and dance the night away! However, we have a NO RE-ENTRY POLICY. When you leave the event, you will not be allowed to enter again without signing up to morale again (and paying $15).
Can I come and go?
We have a NO RE-ENTRY POLICY. You may stay as long as you want to, but you cannot leave and come back. If you leave and wish to come back later, you'll have to sign up to morale again (and pay $15) - provided that there is still space in the Gym at Case Middle School.
How much does it cost?
Signing up as a moraler costs $15, whether you pay beforehand online (at www.stayingawakeforkidssake.com - click "Moralers") or at the door.
What does my money go towards?
Your $15 goes towards the Dance Marathon Moraler shirt you will receive at the event and fundraising for Children''s Miracle Network of Northern New York!
