Dear Dancers
Thank you for your interest and participation in the Stayin’ Awake for KIDS Sake 12-Hour Dance Marathon, being held March 27th & 28th, 9 p.m. to 9 a.m., at the Case Middle School Gym in Watertown.
It’s 9 to 9 with the Class of ’09 – as the BOCES New Vision class we are very excited about working together to organize this student-run philanthropic event. Our goal is to raise $9,000!
Attached you will find all the information necessary for understanding your Dance Marathon pledge, including: Dancer Registration form, Rules, Medical Form, and some additional general information. To participate dancers should raise at least $100 per four-person group/team ($25 per dancer minimum). We highly encourage you to raise more than the minimum requirement! There will be great incentives and prizes available for dancers who raise the most money.
The purpose of Dance Marathon is to raise money to benefit Children’s Miracle Network of Northern New York at Samaritan; but it is also for you to enjoy yourself – to have fun, meet new people and be with old friends, eat great food, and enjoy live bands and entertainment. We want this to be more than just a service event for you.
You will be hearing from us periodically, but please feel free to contact us by calling the New Vision Classroom at Samaritan at 785-4494 or the CMN Office at 785-4053, with any suggestions, questions, or concerns you may have. Be sure to pre-register by March 11th to receive an official Dance Marathon T-shirt!
Thanks again, and we hope you are as excited about Dance Marathon as we are!
For the kids!
